WHEN IN VEGAS!
by Haus of BlaylockThe Las Vegas Market Center
So last Sunday, guess where I was… THE LAS VEGAS WORLD MARKET CENTER!! It’s the LARGEST market center the design world has to offer, and its design shows are completely closed off to the public. Unless, of course, you have a designer friend that can help get you in? And today, I’m going to be telling you everything you need to know about the Las Vegas Market, so you can get an inside look on what it’s like to be an interior designer.
Now let’s get started!
Alright, so the Las Vegas Market Center houses a multitude of showrooms from big-name home and hospitality furnishings. As you can imagine, there are TONS of design brands out there, and if you can think of one, odds are they probably have a showroom here. Now, that inquires a need for a lot of space, and when I saw a lot, I mean A LOT A LOT! I mean the complex itself is so large it’s actually made of THREE buildings, going up 16-stories high?We get to see so many products and that’s why it’s so important when choosing an interior designer. You want an interior designer with a good eye and has a clear vision of what style you want for your home so when they pick something out at market, they’ll know you’ll love it!
Trade Shows
Each year, the Las Vegas Market Center hosts two trade shows, the Winter Market and the Summer Market, so interior designers can see all the hottest trends and newest products. During these showcases, the Las Vegas World Market invites some of the designers to speak and offer seminars so that designers from all around the world can get a more in-depth perspective into their thought processes when creating certain designs and products.
It’s truly my favorite time of year! And yes that is a picture of me with Lisa Vanderpump!
